Fellowship

In the past, many great songs and hymns were written by those that found a deep need for God in their most troubling times.  Most likely, they were not looking for a religion or a doctrine, just God in their most dire time of desperation.   Inspiring words of their trials have been recorded in music, poems, and other avenues, reserved to inspire following generations. But consider this, others can be inspired as well that have never written a poem or a note of music, instead it is lived out in their daily lives.  The early apostle Paul wrote about these individuals in this way.

2 Corinthians 3:2. You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; 3. you are manifestly an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

Christ Seekers is non-denominational and is structured as an encouragement for spiritual growth to anyone that is interested in committing their lives to seeking all that God has to offer through the Spirit of Christ, not just for salvation but for everyday living. 

A fellowship that deeply treasures the joy and excitement of discovering sound biblical precepts through God's anointing (1 John 2:27) and applying them in our everyday lives, where Spiritual fellowship is experienced in the glory of the Lord.

The everyday lives of those in Christ can manifest God's presence and be a comfort to others as they seek help for the trials and tribulations that can fall upon anyone.  One of the things that I am so thankful for is that God gave us a mind to think with.  He cares deeply the things we believe, the things we store in memory, the things that we allow to occupy our minds.  Our opinions are a product of our free will, the free will to chose from right or wrong or to believe in things that are true vs. things that are not true.  Because of this incredible mind that He has provided us with, He has given us something very special, His Holy Spirit, our avenue of communication with God.  Think about it! It is so awesome that He has chosen our bodies, each of us in the body of Christ, as residence for His Holy Spirit.  Consider verses like 1 Corinthians 6:17. But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.  If this sounds good to you, then this Christ Seekers Fellowship is going to be a pleasant adventure and is especially for you.   

This type of fellowship may not be for everyone but for those that are coming together, with a submissive heart, expecting to hear from the Lord.  Seeking that which is divinely revealed through Christ, always aligning with Scripture, sharing what they feel the Lord has given them through His Spirit, patterning after the instructions given to the early churches. 

1 Corinthians 14:29. Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge. 30. But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent. 31. For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged.    

There is joy, when we realize that we have learned something in the presence of the Lord.  It is also joyful to share in that revelation with others.  What also is really unique and spiritually rewarding is the spiritual growth that can be realized in this environment, not to mention the confidence that is experienced when we better recognize the presence of the Lord in our lives.  There's such an incredible blessing found in God's grace and love, for He will take us where we're at, with all our baggage, the good and the not so good and begin repairing our lives according to His will and purpose.  God has a special purpose for each of us that is sincerely interested in being included in the gifts that He has provided especially for the body of Christ.

Therefore anyone is warmly welcomed that would like to join in this fellowship for as Paul stated in 1 John 1: 3. that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
